Comfort
Rear seat space
Third-row seats are amply spacious, and recline and tilt at the touch of a
button. You enjoy overwhelming space and functionality that puts Sequoia at the
top of its class. (Standard on Platinum and Limited. Optional on SR5.)
Ventilated Seats
Ventilated Seats in the front reduce the warm, sticky feel of leather seats,
for enhanced seating comfort. (Standard on Platinum.)
Air Conditioner
A three-zone climate control system allows you to independently set the
temperature for the driver, passenger and rear seat areas. The driver and
passenger seat air conditioners can also automatically adjust the air flow
according to sunlight. In addition, the rear console has an air-conditioner
panel. Everyone rides in maximum comfort.
A walk-in function
A walk-in function lets you slide the second-row seats forward via a lever or
foot pedal. This provides easy access to the third-row seats and is convenient
when loading or unloading cargo.
The centre seat in the second row can slide
The centre seat in the second row can slide forward 225mm, enabling you to
reach it from the front seats. This greatly enhances convenience, especially
when looking after a small child from your position. (Optional on Limited and
SR5)
The fabric seats
The fabric seats have a special coating that makes stains and dirt easy to
remove. (Standard on SR5)
Driving Pleasure
14-speaker JBL Premium Audio System
The premium audio system features a 6-Disc Changer with AM/FM radio. You can
play discs with MP3 and WMA files and use your Bluetooth-compatible phone. The
14 speakers are optimally positioned for realistic, high quality sound.
(Standard on Platinum and Limited. Optional on SR5.)
7-inch navigation display
<p>A 7-inch navigation display makes driving much more
convenient.</p><p>Not available on models equipped with JBL premium
audio system.</p>
Clearance sonar system
A clearance sonar system detects obstructions ahead and behind, informing the
driver with an indicator and buzzer to warn of collisions. (Standard on Platinum
and Limited. Optional on SR5.)
Center differential lock switch
The differential lock switch that lets you lock the center differential.
(Standard on 4WD models)

6-Speed Super-Intelligent Electronically Controlled Transmission
A gate-type sequential shift with an AI-SHIFT automatically changes the shift
pattern according to road conditions or your intention, providing a linear
shifting feel.
5.7-litre V8 Engine 3UR-FE

Electronically Controlled Air Suspension & Adaptive Variable
Suspension
The electronically controlled rear air suspension lets you adjust vehicle
height with a switch, while the AVS gives you a choice of modes and then
automatically controls the damping force of the shock absorbers depending on
road conditions. This advanced suspension system helps ensure excellent cruising
stability and riding comfort.
Safety
Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control
By monitoring steering angle and vehicle direction, VSC detects traction loss
and takes measures to help prevent lateral slippage of the front and rear
wheels. This enhances vehicle stability. Additionally, TRC helps prevent the
drive wheels from skidding when starting or accelerating on a slippery surface.
It also helps maintain on wet, icy or uneven surfaces.
Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution
ABS helps prevent tyre lock in sudden braking situations and EBD distributes
optimum braking power to each wheel as necessary, both contributing to superior
braking power and vehicle stability in all driving
conditions.
